Spray foam insulation is a great addidtion to any building type not just steel framed buildings. It is very efficient and comes in multiple high R-values (insulation ratings). The foam seals gaps and cracks in the construction, preventing air and miosture infiltration and reducing allergens, molds and temperature deviations. Sound is also insulated by the foam decreasing sound transmission through the structure. Since the foam is applied to the structure and can completely fill wall cavities, it also increases the structures stability. Spray foam insulation is a great energy cost saver.
